Upcoming Dinner to Showcase CBD and Hemp Products - Nashville Scene

Tennessee is a state with a long history of hemp production, and not just the version that was once the No. 1 cash crop of Grundy County. We’re talking about the legal kind, without THC content, that has been used as a source of fiber for centuries. CBD and hemp products are seemingly ubiquitous, beyond just the hippie health shops, and have truly entered the mainstream consciousness. Consumers are clamoring for more information about the potential health benefits of these products.

If you’re curious, there’s an excellent opportunity coming up this weekend with a special CBD/Hemp Dinner planned for Saturday, Jan. 18. The dinner will be held at Harvest by Labcanna at 1880 Fairview Blvd. in Fairview and will feature a five-course meal prepared by chefs Skylar Bush and Danny Davis, made using ingredients infused with hemp or CBD. In addition to the food component, the evening will showcase local farmers who grow hemp as well as businesses who sell CBD-related products.

Your ticket includes the meal, an open bar with cocktails, wine and beer, live musical entertainment and a swag bag of samples and special discount deals for hemp products. The evening’s fun kicks off at 6 p.m., and the menu looks delectable:
