ANN ARBOR – Michigan Marijuana Report announced that it has partnered with Cannabiz Connection to offer the networking group’s members the chance to tell their stories to a social media audience of more than 10,000 followers.

A key component of the new partnership is the launch of the Cannabiz Connection Industry Event Calendar in The Michigan Marijuana Report. The goal is to become the go-to guide for information about regional events that focus on all aspects of the emerging cannabis industry, including marijuana, CBD, and hemp. You can view the Event Calendar at http://mimarijuanareport.com/events/

Michigan Marijuana Report will provide Cannabiz Connection members with discounted sponsorships. Sponsorship opportunities include interviews on a live Internet streaming media (TV) show, on location video interviews, plus ads and guest columns that not only reach current Cannabis businesses, but also thousands of entrepreneurs interested in getting involved in this growing industry.

Google predicts that by 2021, more than 80 percent of content that gets consumed on social media will be streaming video.

“I’m excited to be working with The Michigan Marijuana Report,” said Jamie Cooper, who founded Cannabiz Connection on Jan. 15, 2018. “I think it will be a strong collaboration that will result in a lot of great benefits for our growing industry and the businesses both of our organizations currently work with.”

Cannabiz Connection has an audience of more than 6,000 people with over a hundred paying members and helps bring together hundreds of business professionals with its weekly networking events and referral program.

“We offer valuable services and invaluable education to people in the Cannabis industry,” Cooper said. “Partnering with The Michigan Marijuana Report will continue to bring education, resources and networking to this growing industry.”

Said Mike Brennan, Editor of Michigan Marijuana Report, “We launched the Report in April 2019 when the Cannabis business market was just beginning to germinate. Now in 2020, Cannabis businesses will sprout and grow rapidly. We’ll provide those affiliated with Cannabiz Connection the chance to rise above the competition with our comprehensive news and promotional offerings.”
