GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO-KJCT)– A Grand Junction hemp business employee is thankful someone took the time to call 911 when they noticed a fire at his business.
“We are just so thankful that the guys that were passing by actually stopped to call the fire department,” explains Tyler Hansen of Colorado Hemp Solutions.”It got under control real fast, the fire department and the police response was just amazing and we are really grateful for that.”
The fire occurred on Sunday just after 7 p.m. near Highway 50 and 30 1/4 Road.
Firefighters on scene tell our crews that the fire started with wooden pallets on the east side of the main building. The blaze did not travel to the inside of the business.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
