County commissioners approves incentives for hemp processing plant

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. – Rowan County commissioners approved tax incentives for a company Monday night that would use hemp to process CBD oil at an old building in Kannapolis.

Project Bay would create 161 new jobs over four years and will pay employees about $57,000 a year.
