CBD Industry Advances Momentum In Wisconsin

There are undeniable health benefits of CBD, so it is no wonder that the popularity of this hemp
extract is gaining traction in the United States.

In 2017, Wisconsin was amongst 33 states to legalize CBD, a non-psychoactive compound found
in the hemp plant. The vast possibilities of CBD infusion can range from products such as
candies, waters, oils, and more. Store owner James Valona sells CBD in his Milwaukee store,
advertising the products for their undeniable therapeutic benefits.

According to Mr. Valona, the effectiveness of CBD ranges from treating insomnia to pain. He
himself uses CBD for arthritis in his knee. Mr. Valona claims that the rise in popularity has
opened a widespread discussion for consumers, resulting in more sales.

Experts like Cecilia Hillard, director of the Neuroscience Research Center at the Medical
College of Wisconsin, studies the mental and physical effects of the hemp extract. Although she
is positive about upcoming research, she warns that there are a few things CBD users need to be
aware of. For example, there is no regulatory agency to foresee the quality and purity of CBD
oil. Specifically ensuring that the product has no pesticides, heavy metals, or mold.
