CBD Hacker ranks the best CBD oil values for 2018

We did the math so that shoppers can see how much they’re really paying when they’re shopping for CBD.

CBD Hacker, the definitive guide to the CBD industry, has named their five most affordable CBD oils for 2018. The list is the result of a comparative analysis of the prices of the leading CBD oils, along with hands-on evaluations.

“CBD consumers have to sort through a ton of different information to choose the right product,” said CBD Hacker’s managing editor Meg Kramer. “And then, they find that CBD prices can be all over the map. For this ranking, we did the math so that shoppers can see how much they’re really paying when they’re shopping for CBD.”

When you look at the cost per milligram of CBD, there’s a broad spectrum of pricing on the market.

CBD Hacker found that sublingual CBD oils included in their analysis ranged from $0.04 to $0.30 per milligram of CBD. The median price per milligram was $0.11, with more than half of the products landing in the $0.07 – $0.12 range. The average price per milligram was $0.13.

So, what trends emerged after crunching the numbers? First of all, a more potent product will likely give you more bang for your buck. The price per milligram of CBD drops dramatically as potency increases.

And you don’t have to sacrifice quality to get a good value. Each of the brands listed also received high scores in the following categories:

Ingredients & quality
Customer experience
Trust & reputation
Third-party lab results

After meeting CBD Hacker’s high standards in all of these categories, the best values were selected. The full ranking includes (in alphabetical order):

Bluebird Botanicals, Louisville, Colorado
CBDistillery, Denver, Colorado
Green Gorilla, Los Angeles, California
Lazarus Naturals, Seattle, Washington
Receptra, Denver, Colorado

About CBD Hacker:
CBD Hacker’s mission is to introduce transparency into an unregulated and confusing industry. With cannabidiol’s growing popularity, the CBD industry is experiencing rapid growth-but it has little to no oversight. CBD Hacker uses evidence-based reporting, third-party lab testing and blind product-testing methodology to dispel misinformation and help consumers to know what they are buying.
